Und das schreibt er

ENGAGED!!!! I managed to surprise her completely with a creative idea in a local café, where about 15 friends were hidden at the back and another 10 (incl. kids) were visible as customers, who she would expect to see there. I had big colourful 3D letters spread round on the table and on friends' tables and on a shelf behind the seats. The friends who had invited her to meet them there (I pretended just to tag along) were playing with the letters, and we formed her name, Then the name WILLY and then MARY. So all I had to do was to add OU for "WILLYOU" and an R for "MARRY", and placed ME at the end. She was busy talking, so then I said: Read what it says. She went "oh!" and started laughing. I said: "in the presence of a lot of your friends -- look who is here..." and she turned round to see, as she said, basically the whole café full of familiar faces! She went red and was laughing and laughing, as I got down on one knee and took her hand and asked "willst du meine Frau werden?"... Then I jumped up and rearranged the letters to say: YES NO MAYBE. She stepped to the table and cleared the no and maybe aside, so all that was left was YES. And the music started playing (ipod over the speakers)... our song! There followed plenty of photos, hugs and congratulations!
It feels gooooood to be engaged!
